Born in Rome (Italy), at the age of eight Rossano Baldini began studying piano, which led to a Bachelor of Arts at the “S. Cecilia” Conservatory of Music in Rome. In his educational path, he studied with Antonio Valente and Franco Medori (classical music), Franco D’AndreaJohn TaylorKenny Werner and Stefano Battaglia (jazz and improvisation). Parallel to the musical studies, he deepened his interest in cinema by enrolling at the Roma Tre University faculty of DAMS (Disciplines of Arts, Music and Performing Arts) where he graduated with honours in 2007. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles (USA) where he began his professional career alongside composer Carlo Siliotto and producer Ignacio Elisawetsky.

As a soundtracks’ composer, Rossano Baldini wrote the original music of various feature films, including Neet (2024) by Andrea Biglione, Nel Bagno Delle Donne (2020, Marco Castaldi), Il Principe Di Ostia Bronx (2018, Raffaele Passerini) and Tutti I Rumori del Mare (2012, Federico Brugia).
The collaboration with film directors sees Rossano involved in composing music for many short films presented at Italian and International festivals, among others: Un Viaggio A Roma (2023, Laura Luchetti), Now Kiss (2023, Alessandra Gonnella), Consider The Lillies (2023, Cristina Spina), Ossa (2022, Daniele Testi e Catrinel Marlon), 500 Calories (2020, Cristina Spina), Queen Kong (2016, Monica Stambrini) and Push (2006, Loris Lai).
As a composer of music for TV series, Baldini has signed the soundtracks of Nudes 2 (2024, RaiPlay – 3 episodes) directed by Marco Danieli, Che Classe! (2024, RaiPlay – 20 episodes) by Yuri Rossi and Voci Di Una Terra – Basilicata (2019, RaiPlay – 8 episodes) by Federico Cataldi.
Finally, active as a composer and producer of TV program music, since 2017 until present Rossano has signed the soundtrack of the TV shows Presa Diretta (Rai3, 14 Seasons), and previously Super Quark Più (RaiPlay, 2019 – 2022, 4 Seasons).

As a recording artist, Rossano Baldini released two records for the Japanese label Albòre Jazz Records: It Won’t Be Late (2012), piano solo and Light (2015) featuring Pierpaolo Ranieri, Michele Rabbia and Gianluca Petrella.
In 2021 he created his electronica persona/project HUMANBEING, for which he composed and produced the self-titled debut album released by the English record company RareNoise Records.

As a live musician, since 2015 to 2020 he’s been part of the Nicola Piovani sextet La Musica E’ Pericolosa and the keyboard player of the theatrical show La Vita Nuova, playing more than 300 concerts all over the world.
Since 2012, he collaborates as a soloist, pianist and keyboard player with the orchestras: Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale Di Santa Cecilia, Orchestra Italiana Del Cinema, Orchestra Del Teatro Dell’OperaRoma Sinfonietta.Dell’Opera.
Over the years, he also played in concerts with Luis Bacalov, Fabrizio Bosso, Timothy Brock, Giorgio Canali, Josè Carreras, Franco Piersanti, Steven Mercurio, Andrea Morricone, Demo Morselli, Carly Paoli, Michele Rabbia, Pierpaolo Ranieri, Spiritual Front.

As s studio musician, Rossano works alongside various composer as a pianist, keyboard and accordion player.
