Born in Rome (Italy), at the age of eight Rossano Baldini began studying piano, which led to a Bachelor of Arts at the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory of Music in Rome. In his educational path, he studied with Antonio Valente and Franco Medori (classical music), Franco D’Andrea, John Taylor, Kenny Werner and Stefano Battaglia (jazz and improvisation). Parallel to the musical studies, he deepened his interest in cinema by enrolling at the Roma Tre University faculty of DAMS (Disciplines of Arts, Music and Performing Arts) where he graduated with honours in 2007. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles, California where he began his professional career alongside composer Carlo Siliotto and producer Ignacio Elisawetsky.

As a soundtracks’ composer, Rossano Baldini wrote for cinema and television. His latest cinematographic works are the soundtracks of Neet directed by Andrea Biglione, Ossa by Daniele Testi and Catrinel Marlon, Consider The Lillies and 500 Calories by Cristina Spina, Nel Bagno Delle Donne by Marco Castaldi, Il Principe Di Ostia Bronx by Raffaele Passerini, Queen Kong by Monica Stambrini, Tutti I Rumori Del Mare by Federico Brugia.
For television, since 2018 he collaborates with the Rai3 TV show PresaDiretta for which he scores and produces original music for the reportages signed, among others, by Riccardo Iacona, Alessandro Macina, Lisa Iotti, Giuseppe Laganà, Teresa Paoli. The investigation Caldo Artico, written by Alessandro Macina, won the National Award For The Scientific Publication “Giancarlo Dosi” 2019.
For Rai3, in 2018, he composed the original music of the docu – series Voci di una terra (8 espisodes”, directed by Federico Cataldi; for the streaming platform RaiPlay, he produced the music for the TV show Super Quark +, hosted by Piero Angela.

As a recording artist, Rossano Baldini released two records for the Japanese label Albòre Jazz Records which produced his first solo piano album It Won’t Be Late (2012), followed by Light in 2015, featuring Pierpaolo Ranieri, Michele Rabbia and Gianluca Petrella.
In 2020, the label ConcertOne has released an anthology of Rossano Baldini’s music for cinema entitled Crime And Desires and the original soundtrack of the movie 500 Calories.

In 2021 he created his electronica persona/project HUMANBEING, for which he wrote, composed and produced the self-titled debut album released in vinyl by the London record company RareNoise Records.

As a live musician, since 2015 to 2020 he’s been part of the Nicola Piovani sextet La Musica E’ Pericolosa and the keyboard player of the theatrical show La Vita Nuova, playing more than 300 concerts in Italy and abroad.
Since 2012, he collaborates as a soloist, pianist and keyboard player with the orchestras Roma Sinfonietta, Orchestra Italiana Del Cinema, Orchestra Dell’Accademia Nazionale Di Santa Cecilia, Orchestra Del Teatro Dell’Opera.
Over the years, he also played in concerts with Luis Bacalov, Josè Carreras, Steven Mercurio, Franco Piersanti, Timothy Brock, Giorgio Canali, Fabrizio Bosso, Spiritual Front, Carly Paoli, Michele Rabbia, Andrea Morricone.

As s studio musician, Rossano works alongside various composer as a pianist, keyboard and accordion player. Since 2017, he is a Bercandeon Ambassador, a free reed aerophone instrument with double keyboard, created by Fiorenzo Bernasconi and produced by Teknofisa.

In 2021, he was the artistic producer of the theatrical soundtrack Turandot, commissioned by Teatro Stabile Del Veneto to M° Alessio Vlad, for the direction of Pier Luigi Pizzi.
Since 2022 he is the Musical Director of the theatrical show “Le Parole Contano” by Valentina Parisse, produced by Gianluca Di Furia.
